After several years of working in financial recruitment, I decided to embark on a solo adventure and create NKD Advisory. I joined the industry to help people and their businesses succeed with a genuinely consultative approach. After working for more traditional recruitment businesses, I became fed up with the “hard sales” and “KPI” aspects of my role. I wanted to prove that old fashioned relationship-based recruitment could still thrive in the 21st century.
So here we are! My name is Nabarun, and I’m the Managing Director of NKD Advisory. I can make unbiased decisions that are best for you throughout the process – just one of my many strengths! No more asking levels of management or hesitating about fees, and no more worrying about being pushed through the process because a recruiter has to hit a monthly monetary target. Nabarun Dasgupta
I believe in traditional relationship-based recruitment. I’m a strong advocate for technology, but for me, placing a generic ad on LinkedIn and sending a mass email to hundreds if not thousands of candidates and clients isn’t the right way to do things.
All recruiters say that people are at the heart of their business. But for me, it’s not just a throwaway sentence. It’s something I’m passionate about. I want to help improve the lives of my candidates by helping them reach their dreams, and I want my clients to succeed by making great appointments. If I can help do that – in any way possible, I know I’m moving in the right direction.
